How I can help

How to survive being a parent of a teenager

You don't need to have all the answers. Coaching gives you a steady space to talk through what's happening at home, understand it and decide what to do next.

01

Challenging behaviour

Aggression, shutting down, refusing school, constant conflict. We look at what may be driving it and how to respond in ways that protect your relationship and your home.

02

Mental health difficulties

Anxiety, low mood, withdrawal or big changes. Understanding what you're seeing and when to seek further help.

03

Self-harm

Finding out is frightening. Respond calmly, keep communication open and look after yourself too.

04

You, as the parent

Exhaustion, guilt and feeling isolated are common. Your wellbeing matters and it makes a difference to your whole family.

About Luke Webb

I have worked in child mental health services for 15 years, running groups, 1:1 work and supporting professionals with tips on supporting young people.

I am an ILM7 Executive coach, developing coach supervisor and Debrief facilitator.

My approach is calm, practical and free from judgement. Whatever you're facing at home, you're not the first parent to face it, and there are ways through.

What to expect

What coaching is, and what it isn't

Coaching is

  • Confidential, practical support for you as the parent
  • Understanding what's going on with your teenager
  • Building your confidence and planning your next steps

Coaching isn't

  • A replacement for therapy
  • A crisis service
  • A replacement for your GP or CAMHS. If you need more help, I'll help you work out where to go.

Add me to your team.

I am available online or face to face from £60 per hour.
